Really surprising place to stay as a budget hotel, nice room, very clean and tidy and right in the heart of china town although very noisy in the street outside I didn't hear a noise at all during the night , security on duty all the time I was there and as a coach driver was really surprised that I could park the bus for free about 100 yds away..

Stayed here for the Olivia Rodrigo concert, we arrived around 4.30pm and all the parking spots were taken, member of staff told us to park on the curb, luckily we got the last spot as they closed the parking gated after. Check in was speedy, the gentleman who checked us in was very nice, I asked for a quiet area and he gave us a room at the end of the corridor. Stayed on the 2nd floor, room was basic but spotless, tv didn’t work but we didn’t mind, the shower is brilliant and can’t be faulted! Aircon was great and had the option to open the window too which was brill, the bed was comfy, there was some slight noise from another room around 4.30am but we left the aircon all night which blocked some of it out. Went down in the morning and grabbed a takeaway coffee for £1.50 which I thought was well priced for a good cup of coffee, I honestly can’t blame them for not having it in the room, good for them for making some extra money, it has the name “budget” in it for a reason! We didn’t try the breakfast but the food they had on display looked really nice! Also made use of the little snack section and brought a couple of chocolate bars and popcorn, really handy to have this on site. The hotel is in a great location, really central walk from the bullring and the o2 academy and the Utilita arena. The staff were lovely the whole stay, they definitely made the hotel what it is, was nice to see security on the door late at night too! Would stay again if in the Bham area :)

A fantastic cheap hotel located in a perfect location! The rooms are basic yes, however it’s extremely clean, power shower and the staff are outstanding and always go above and beyond! A special shout out to Emma who is always a joy every time we visit! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Birmingham! Thank you as always. Rhys & Jason

Very basic, no tea making facilities in room sorry but you expect this even in the most basic B&B! The staff were very friendly couldn’t fault them. The beds were very uncomfortable extremely hard. Everything was very tiny the toilet, the sink all very small. It was ok for a one night stop but I certainly wouldn’t want to stop any longer. No USB chargers more like a hostel room than a hotel room

Check in staff were pleasant, not a bad location BUT the room was smelly. The shower is in the room behind a screen and the drains smelt. The sink was by the bed and the drains smelt. Carpets had not been hoovered or swept, I darent to pull back the duvet, we didn't stay the night! It felt more like a room at a hostel.
